If you are annoyed with the Compile error debug prompt in visual basic as in picture 1, Choose Tools (in vba) then Options and uncheck Auto Syntax Check as in picture 2

Note: On Require Variable Declaration:
I call the compile time error the "carpal tunnel" option, because it forces one to reach for their mouse to click OK to all compile errors. You should add to always Tick the box for Require Variable Declaration.  "Tom Wickerath"
